I was just arguing with one colleague during lunch break about this skill vs luck thing. Anybody saying betting is 100% skill is lying to themselves. Yes, research helps, bankroll matters, odds reading matters too. But luck still controls many things. One last minute own goal can wipe out two days of analysis. Betting is like trying to control chaos with confidence. I’ve seen people who know football deeply still lose badly while one random guy picks matches blindly and cashes out huge.
