There is every possibility that electronic table will displace poker dealers from game of poker. As things are evolving and technology is displacing humans from repetitive tasks, i have no doubt that electronic table will displace poker dealers!
What do you think?

sorry i posted this answer in another question also. im not sure how AI will affect poker in the future tbh. its going to have some major involvement i believe but not sure what exactly. im not sure if they will get rid of dealers 100% live as a dealer acts like a referee and keeps tabs on the game the best they can. would be sad if it happened but interaction with the dealer is what can make poker fun too

Yeah! I believe that poker dealer brings some fun to the table. Even human mistakes are part of the game! Moreover, electronic table can not be able to take disciplinary actions against erring player.

Yeah, I think it's definitely possible. Technology keeps getting better and cheaper, and electronic tables can deal faster without mistakes or needing breaks. But I hope they don't completely replace human dealers.. the social aspect and personality that dealers bring to the game is part of what makes poker fun.

Electronic tables are already coming up in some casinos nowadays, making bets and cards automatic, so the claim about technology replacing dealers is true.

I don't think so, when/if I play live. I would prefer real dealers, and I think a lot of players would feel the same.

Poker has been a game that traditionally thrives on social interactions. It would really take so much for poker players to ditch the banters of playing with a dealer to play mainly on electronic tables. I practically don't see electronic tables taking over dealers happening anytime soon.
