Have you ever thought of hosting poker games at home? It's a great way to socialize and improve our skills. At least we can play with no tension.

Share the tips for hosting successful home games.

You need to consider a lot of thing before hosting poker games at your home. First, are you willing to entertain diverse personalities in your home? In my opinion, home is a place revered for peace and sanity. I will not trade my home for anything!

Home games are usually amongst friends, so it's really do you want your friends in your home lol

I use to play a $5 home game with my parents. It's how I was introduced to poker, and we had a weekly home game with a $5 buy-in. The game was usually in the garage, or at the dining room table.

Except with family and friends! Am extreme introvert, i don't like unnecessary distractions! My home is exclusively for me alone except on few occasions my family members pay a visit. I don't keep friends!

Before you locate a poker in your house, you need to consider your personal boundaries and comfort levels. Citing poker at homes requires you to set clear rules and expectations with your guess so that everyone can have a good time.

There is a guy that regularly hosts poker home games in my city. I have never hosted one. I hope to some day. I think one of the things to fix on such home games is to set maximum buy-in and possibly rebuys and communicate to everyone that would play in advance. Sufficient chips and good cards need to be available too. Make your home comfortable with sufficient seats and snacks too. That's what I would do if I have to host a home game.

One can set a portion of their house aside for hosting poker events. It is just one way to ensure that those coming around can also have a good time without having to invade your privacy.
