As a result of scam, a lot of people who are interested in playing online poker games are skeptical about using online poker sites. They're usually worried of being scammed once they make deposit on online poker sites. They may be more comfortable play live poker than playing online.

Their fear of being scanned is justified because some poker sites are set up by scammers. If you're not using a legit poker site, scammers will snap you up.

I would say online poker is more safety then getting paid in real life because who would really wanna walk about with a million pounds in your pocket

Long as your pc isn't infected or don't go to a shady poker site, it should be perfectly safe.

That's the truth. As long as you are playing on a website that is safe and secured, playing poker online is better.

Poker sitss are safe when you cash out/withdraw from all the big sites. Bots and collusion are the concern with online poker rooms.

I research sites before I play anywhere these days. Past poker sites like Full Tilt Poker, and others made it hard to trust some poker rooms.

People can always cheat but usually the system used can detect that. Got to be careful though to see if it's a shady site.

There are a couple of online poker sites that are very safe. In the same vein, there are tons of scam sites too. That is why you need to research and choose reputable sites like PokerStars, 888poker etc. I also make sure to check licenses.

Online poker like any other online business involves risk. But we should take caution and make sure we do necessary research before depositing fund on any poker site. Before i get involved with any poker site i do check out what others is saying about the site. Nothing is safe now online, but we should take precautionary measures!
