Walk away. That's just about the first thing that people should hear when talking about gambling. You shouldn't chase your losses, or keep throwing good money after bad. If something is not going well in a particular bet or in a session, it may be time to cut your losses. It can save you a lot of emotional stress and financial damages later on.

It is easy to say but quite difficult to implement until your fund hit zero. It takes discipline to take break after losing huge chunk of money in gambling. I use to set win -loss limit, once i reached it, i will walk out without looking back.

If you are not a disciplined gambler, it will be difficult to walk away from unprofitable gambling. For me, I set a win / lose limit and it has been an effective strategy to maintain control and it also helped me avoid chasing losses.

If you can't walk away, then you shouldn't gamble, not able to leave is going to risk a lot of your lifestyle that no one should risk.
