In March 2022, Rush Street Interactive (RSI), a leader in online casino and sports betting, made a strategic move by acquiring Phil Galfond’s Run It Once Poker platform for $5.8 million. Since then, the poker community has been keenly awaiting updates. Today, RSI launched BetRivers Poker, marking a milestone in the U.S. online poker scene.

Crafted in collaboration with Galfond, a respected poker pro, BetRivers Poker was designed with a player-centric approach. “Our vision was to create a platform for everyone, from beginners to experienced players, with a focus on fairness, excitement, and meaningful rewards,” said Galfond. He emphasized his hands-on role in shaping the game’s features, promotions, and policies.

BetRivers Poker made its debut in Pennsylvania, with plans for expansion to other states. Pennsylvania players can now join the platform, which is currently offering a 100% match bonus up to $1,000 for new users. Access is available on Mac and Windows desktops, with mobile apps for iOS and Android on the way. Notably, BetRivers Poker includes features like dynamic avatars reflecting player styles, the HeroIQ built-in HUD, fair play auto-seating, and randomized screen names, all features drawn from Run It Once Poker.

BetRivers offers a variety of game formats, from cash games and Sit & Go’s to Multi-Table Tournaments. Their innovative Cub3d Sit & Go Tournaments give players a chance to win up to 1,500 times their buy-in in a matter of minutes. The platform also integrates with the BetRivers iRush Rewards, allowing players to accumulate and redeem points.

Additionally, RSI’s partnership with Rivers Casinos in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia enhances the omnichannel poker experience by offering rewards and promotions across both online and retail settings. RSI’s CEO, Richard Schwartz, highlighted this launch as a seamless bridge between online and in-person poker, aligning the digital BetRivers platform with Rivers Casino’s physical poker rooms.

Hey all. I've been playing mobile poker apps (PPPoker, X-Poker,PokerBros, ClubGG) for a couple of years, mostly in Asian clubs.Built a comparison directory at poker-catalog where I track rakebackrates, club traffic, and agent reliability. Happy to answerquestions about the mobile poker world — it's a niche mosttraditional poker players don't know much about.
