Poker Community Forum Rules​

Welcome to Poker Community Forum (PCF)! Our goal is to provide a friendly, informative, and welcoming community where poker players can discuss strategy, share experiences, discover poker sites, participate in community games, and connect with other members.

By registering for or participating in PCF, you agree to follow these rules. They apply to forum posts, profile content, private messages, and other community features.

1. Respect Other Members​

• Treat all members with respect, regardless of their experience, skill level, bankroll, results, or preferred poker variants.
• Personal attacks, harassment, bullying, threats, discriminatory remarks, and targeted abuse are prohibited.
• Friendly banter and poker-related trash talk are welcome as long as they remain respectful and do not become personal or abusive.
• Disagreements and constructive criticism are encouraged. Debate ideas and strategies without attacking the people expressing them.
• Do not deliberately provoke, intimidate, or repeatedly target other members.

2. Keep Discussions Relevant and Constructive​

• Post in the most appropriate forum section and use descriptive thread titles.
• Contribute meaningfully to discussions rather than posting solely to increase your message count or reaction score.
• Avoid duplicate threads, repetitive posts, and unnecessary replies that disrupt discussions.
• Stay on topic and respect the purpose of each forum section.
• Do not derail discussions with personal disputes. Contact a staff member if a disagreement requires moderation.

3. No Spam or Unauthorized Promotion​

• Spam, unsolicited advertising, referral-link flooding, and repetitive promotional posts are prohibited.
• Sharing poker sites, tools, services, websites, and relevant links is permitted when the content genuinely contributes to the discussion.
• Members must not disguise advertisements as independent recommendations or misrepresent their affiliation with a business.
• If you own, operate, represent, or receive compensation from a poker site or service, disclose that relationship when promoting it.
• Do not send unsolicited promotional messages to members or repeatedly advertise through profiles, signatures, or private messages.
• Staff may remove promotional content that is misleading, excessive, or inappropriate for the community.

4. Poker Site and Poker Software Discussions​

• Members may discuss poker rooms, operators, payment methods, poker software, promotions, and player experiences.
• Keep criticism factual and constructive. Explain your experience and provide supporting information when possible.
• Do not present unverified allegations of cheating, fraud, collusion, or misconduct as established facts.
• Never fabricate reviews, testimonials, winnings, screenshots, or personal experiences to promote or damage a poker site or individual.
• Do not encourage cheating, collusion, chip dumping, account sharing that violates a site's rules, or other forms of poker misconduct.
• Suspected security issues or serious misconduct should be reported responsibly rather than used to harass individuals or spread unsupported accusations.

5. Poker Etiquette and Fair Play​

• Respect the integrity of poker games, tournaments, and community competitions.
• Do not share another player's hole cards, private hand information, or confidential game information without authorization.
• Do not coordinate with other players to manipulate outcomes, transfer chips improperly, or gain an unfair advantage.
• Do not use another person's account or impersonate a player to participate in games or competitions.
• Follow the rules of the poker platform hosting each game, including any applicable restrictions on software, assistance tools, and account use.
• If you participate in PCF-organized games, follow the specific event rules and instructions provided by the organizers.

6. Protect Private Game Information​

• Passwords for password-protected PCF events must not be shared publicly or distributed outside the authorized participants and channels.
• Do not repost private event details, invitation links, or access credentials without permission.
• Do not attempt to bypass restrictions or gain unauthorized access to private games or community events.
• If an event organizer provides specific instructions about eligibility or password distribution, follow those instructions.

Violations may result in removal from an event or additional moderation action.

7. No Begging or Requests for Financial Handouts​

• Do not solicit donations, poker bankroll contributions, buy-ins, loans, or other financial handouts from members.
• Do not pressure, guilt, or repeatedly message members to obtain money.
• Do not create fundraising requests or promotional schemes designed to obtain money under false pretenses.
• Legitimate, approved promotions, prizes, and community incentives are permitted when they follow the applicable rules.

Depending on the circumstances, violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account bans.

8. Promotions, Bonuses, and Affiliate Links​

• Promotions and bonus offers must be presented accurately, including relevant eligibility requirements and restrictions.
• Do not misrepresent bonus amounts, wagering requirements, withdrawal conditions, prizes, or the likelihood of winning.
• Clearly disclose referral relationships or financial incentives where relevant.
• Do not advertise expired offers as current. Update or clarify outdated promotional information when practical.
• Never pressure members to deposit money, gamble, or participate in a promotion.
• PCF may restrict or remove offers that are misleading, unsafe, fraudulent, or inconsistent with community standards.

9. Privacy, Personal Information, and Account Security​

• Do not publish another member's real name, address, phone number, email address, financial information, private messages, or other personal information without their permission.
• Do not share private screenshots or conversations in a way that exposes confidential information without authorization.
• Do not impersonate members, staff, poker operators, or other individuals.
• Keep your login credentials secure and do not attempt to access another member's account.
• Report suspected account compromise, impersonation, or security vulnerabilities to staff.
• Do not use the forum to threaten, blackmail, stalk, or expose other members.

10. Signatures, Profiles, and User Content​

• Profile information, avatars, signatures, and other user-generated content must comply with these rules.
• Do not use offensive, threatening, deceptive, or excessively promotional profile content.
• Do not use signatures or profile fields to circumvent restrictions on advertising or spam.
• Content must not infringe the rights of others or contain malicious links, phishing attempts, or harmful software.
• Do not upload or distribute content you are not authorized to share.

11. Multiple Accounts and Ban Evasion​

• Do not create or use additional accounts to evade a suspension, permanent ban, or other moderation restriction.
• Do not use alternate accounts to manipulate discussions, reactions, polls, reviews, competitions, or community feedback.
• Impersonation and deliberate attempts to mislead members about your identity or affiliations are prohibited.
• If you believe an account restriction was issued incorrectly, contact staff through the appropriate channel rather than attempting to circumvent it.

12. Reporting Problems and Contacting Staff​

• Use the forum's reporting tools to bring rule violations to staff attention.
• Provide relevant details and evidence when making a report, and avoid public arguments about ongoing moderation matters.
• Do not abuse the reporting system to harass other members or retaliate against someone over a disagreement.
• Members are welcome to provide constructive feedback about community rules, moderation, and site features.
• Do not impersonate staff or claim to speak on behalf of PCF without authorization.

13. Moderation and Enforcement​

PCF staff aim to enforce these rules fairly and consistently while protecting the community and encouraging healthy discussion.

Depending on the nature, severity, frequency, and context of a violation, moderation actions may include:

• A reminder or informal warning.
• Removal or editing of offending content.
• Restrictions on posting, messaging, or other account privileges.
• Temporary suspension from the forum or community events.
• Permanent account suspension or banning.

Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior warnings. Repeated violations may lead to stronger penalties, even if each individual incident appears minor.

Staff may consider a member's history, intent, cooperation, and the impact of their actions when deciding how to respond. Attempts to evade moderation or retaliate against members who report misconduct may result in additional action.

PCF reserves the right to remove content and restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to maintain a safe, respectful, and functional community.

14. Changes to These Rules​

These rules may be updated as PCF grows and new community features, poker games, or services are introduced. Members are responsible for following the current rules.

Additional rules may apply to specific forums, promotions, tournaments, and community events. Where applicable, those rules should be followed alongside these general guidelines.

Final Note​

PCF is built around a shared interest in poker and a community where members can learn, discuss, compete, and have fun. You do not have to agree with everyone, be an expert player, or share the same opinions to belong here.

Be respectful, contribute positively, play fairly, and help make Poker Community Forum a place people want to return to.
