Athletes would know better about the game and anything else. If they start to bet, they may attempt to use inside information for profits, or even try to affect the result of the game. This could bring mistrust and promote cheating in sport. Thus, several leagues are prohibiting players from gambling. This isn't for the fun of it, but to keep the integrity of the sport. This way, when athletes refrain, they are protecting the game.

No! Athletics should not be involved in gambling to protect the game. The reason is not farfetched. Athletics are participants in the game and their action or behaviour can influence the game. A lot of players have been highly penalized because of their involvement in the game of gambling. Now, betting companies have placed automation that dictates usual betting patterns

Hey all. I've been playing mobile poker apps (PPPoker, X-Poker,PokerBros, ClubGG) for a couple of years, mostly in Asian clubs.Built a comparison directory at poker-catalog where I track rakebackrates, club traffic, and agent reliability. Happy to answerquestions about the mobile poker world — it's a niche mosttraditional poker players don't know much about.
