Were you scared to play for real money when you first started playing poker?

I completely ignored bankroll management when I first starting playing poker for money. I played a few home games live with my parents, and that's how I got hooked.

After that, I started playing online and building bankrolls from freerolls. The buy-ins didn't concern me, if I had enough I would play. I looked mostly at prizes. Over time, I became more discipline with how I manage my poker bankroll.

How about you?

Yeah, I think it’s normal to be nervous the first time. Even a small buy-in can be huge to a newbie in the game . It will take a few games before they stopped shaking when pushing chips in.🤣

I don’t play but I imagine it can be a bit nerve-wracking at first especially when real money’s on the line. It’s natural to feel nervous but with experience and confidence that fear usually fades. It’s all about learning the game and managing your bets wisely.
