I was thinking about this today. I think it's sales or trading. These two things force you to learn risk management. I think any job where you must control your emotions under stress helps. Poker is less about cards and more about discipline. If your job teaches you patience and calculated risk, you already have an edge.
 
If I had to pick one, trading is probably the closest because both require probability-based thinking, emotional discipline, and making good long-term decisions despite short-term swings.
 
Things like trading, data analysis, or even sales help a lot because you’re constantly weighing risk, reading people, and working with incomplete information.
