What’s your "Golden Rule" for gambling?

My own rule is quite simple, never stake the money you can't afford to lose. Once your rent, food or business money gets into your betting account, that’s a red flag already because gambling can't pay you a salary..

I have some simple rules but I take these rules very seriously. Don't use a phone to gamble, don't use gambling apps, always use a computer. Since phone is convenient, you end up playing more on phone. Another rule I follow is stop playing of your funds depletes by 50 percent.
