What are the unwritten rules to know when you're playing poker in a live event. Abiding by these rules whenever you're playing in the arena of live poker, it will always put you to be in good standing with your fellow players, dealers, and poker room management. Some of those rules are ; Avoiding angle shooting, don't string bet, don't slow roll, not berating the dealer or other players and etc.

What other unwritten rules are there to observe?

Keeping your cards visible is another key thing to note. Ensure that other players can see where your cards are placed as that will enable transparency at the end of the day.

One of the unwritten rules was that players should respect not only their personal space but also the other players.

Not everyone follows or listens but every player should have good etiquette at the tables, especially when playing live poker.

Some of unwritten rules include;
Talkative and been loud
Foul smelling
Smoking among nonsmokers
Talking trash
Eating and drinking on the table
Be gracious in winning and losing.

@magnus2022 Those are good list. Other unwritten rules are: no slow rolls, no showing one card to anyone, respecting other players' space.

For online, I do not think players should show their cards when folding when others are still in hand or talking about the hand after you folded and others are still in. Not sure what kind of rules these are, but I think they should be followed.

Don't fart at the table either. That's too deadly and will disrupt the game.😂

You don't want to reveal anything by facial expressions. Keeping your posture in tact and not revealing what type of hand you have with facial expressions is important. It may not tell everything but by the way your betting combined, sometimes it can lead to users folding too soon.

Always make sure that your calls for every move you want to make is audible enough for everyone to hear. If you are folding, checking or raising, always endeavor to say it clearly. And also, don't keep your cards in a position that the opponent can see. Always protect your cards from the sight of others.
