Memecoin is the same thing with shitcoins. The only difference is that shitcoin is a derogatory language used to define coins with no fundamental values. Memecoins simply a word that's a bit friendly and mostly used by cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Memecoins and shitcoins are used interchangeably.

Shit coins are not the same thing with meme coins. Meme coins are created out of social media hype. It is based on social media engagement from a huge community. Look at it very well. Meme coins pop up from social media trends. Shit coins on the other hand doesn't have an origin that can be traced. They always are manipulated by deceptive pumps in price to draw users in. Shit coin developers always more often than not run away with the funds of the users.

Wait, seriously, people still mix these two things? Memecoins at least have community hype sometimes like Dogecoin did. Shitcoins appear today and vanish tomorrow. New traders often jump into anything trending on Twitter without checking the fundamentals. Blindly buying anrandom coins can be a painful lesson.
