The betting order is the most difficult thing in poker. Every few minutes, a beginner would ask “whose turn”. It might look easy until you tried explaining it to someone. That's when you would realized that some things that the experienced players call the basic are not really basic.
 
I think one of the hardest lessons for beginners is learning to fold good-looking hands. It's tempting to play every decent hand, but knowing when to let go is a big part of becoming a better poker player.
