Poker taught me how to manage my bankroll/money, and discipline. I also observe real life situations better.

Has playing poker taught you any life lessons?

Only spend spare money you have, not the rent money to play with, lol.

It take discipline so I guess that would be my lesson learned. Don't always assume you have the best hand. You need to play aggresively and passively at that same time.

Poker has taught me patience. Don't rush to play, observe the game and the opponents very well before making a move✅

I never assume I have the best hand unless I have the nuts, but I will bet for a value if I believe my opponents will call with a worse hand.

Poker taught me to fight and never give up. There is always possibility of breaking through and go home with something. The game is not over until it is over.

Poker can impact some significant life lessons like discipline, risk management, and emotional control. Poker also promotes strategic thinking which are useful in reality.

Poker has taught me how to weigh risks and be able to take calculated risks in the face of situations that are just probabilities. In poker, you study, you observe before you make moves. I have used that approach to make life decisions in career, relationships to great advantage.

One of the valuable lessons that Poker taught me is patience and adaptability and in poker, you've got to wait for the right time to strike and adjust your strategy based on the situation on ground. Those are real lessons in professional life.
