What's your winning formular? What makes the winners of poker different from other players? What are your thoughts on what can be seen as the skills, attributes or attitude of a consistent winner. I still think that analysis and planning are the recipe for successful poker playing. What about you?

yes they are , but patience is a Hugh key. also having played long time and seen millions of hands helps. trust your first gut feeling

patience patience patience ability to fold understanding who you are playing against put pressure on opponents to make bad decsions
I agree with you. Tolerance is very valuable for the poker game since patience is required for a player to be a winner. Experience helps too. You have to be able to sense some things about other players. Also, you need to be able to know when one has lost and also managing one’s temper.

In my opinion, the playing poker implies a certain set of abilities. You need to have self-control and be disciplined. You should also have bankroll management skills as well.

One thing that is needed is being disciplined, especially in relation to the amount of money you used in playing. Also, if you can study your opponent, and be flexible, you will be at an advantage.

In my view, a good poker player should possess analytical capabilities, mental stamina as well as perseverance. They should understand their opponents, manage the table and make correct decisions.

looking 4 answer to fold to win ? what am i trying to tell you how dose it work , really good players probaly understand this , just maybe in different terms .. good luck not against me he he
Players that fold/play very cautiously do outlast the majority of players. Folding too much can be -EV.

some players need help , the fact is , you play to many hands , and at the wrong times . a slight cut back and better , tier, hand selections , might help you improve , you have to learn to keep applying it, fold to win , it can be done , bascilly fold more play better , those who cant fold often dont get close to $

Some players also refuse help. I think the players that are open to learning/improving are more likely to succeed long term. I've tried to give advice to some players, but I played against them again, and I still see the same leaks.

what gets my post removed since i cant see which one and why
None of them were removed. I merged your posts, because you have a lot of double posts. It's no big deal.

can i name players who miss the memo about this subject .. good luck not against me hehe
To be a successful poker player, it requires discipline and patience on when to fold or when to take a chance. Playing many hands tends to produce more losers rather than winners.

But still, poker is, after all is said and done, technically a game of chance. You could be the "best" player in the world, but if the cards don't fall right, you might lose.

Just my thoughts.

What makes a winning poker player? It’s all about strategy, patience, and knowing when to take risks. Some players follow trends or use software to analyze hands, while others rely on instinct and experience. Personally, I like to stay focused. I really enjoy playing Horizon, Crystal Fruits Deluxe, Fire’n Diamonds, and Midas Dynasty. I’m DiceGirl Egle, a slots streaming expert, and I’m passionate about slot games. Aarupolis and Lucky Scarab by Tom Horn Gaming are some of my favorites and I highly recommend them. See you on Twitch! ;)

A big key in my opinion is the enjoyment of watching others game play so that means I fold most of the time. So that's in argument of patience but another key thing I've found is that I've never thought of odds at all before the flop. Any 2 cards are just as valuable as any other before the flop. Being able to play anything is particularly favorable to the tournament player. 😁
That's my take.

You can gain valuable information on players that may help in future hands by sitting back for a bit, and watching the action. I still would play strong hands while trying to pickup on tells I can take advantage of. Patience usually pays off.

Winning poker players need to develop strategic thinking combined with emotional control and flexibility. The important skills to have include analysis, patience, discipline, and reading the dynamics of the table.

Discipline to manage your bankroll is the most important skill you need to win in poker games! No matter how skilled you are, you are likely to get things messed up if you don't know how to manage your bankroll.

I don't disagree that luck is apart of the game, but there is a reason why the same players usually end up deep in tournaments, or at the final table beating out huge fields of players. Bankroll management, good decision making, and a understanding of how variance works will help you become a winning player. Discipline is a must, and trusting in the process.

I've been a winning player for a long time, and it's not going to change.

A poker player would have a better chance if they understand the odds and probability of the game. They should also have the ability to read people's pattern to gain a better chance.

To know when the others are lying and possibly holding good cards and fold right away.
