Some poker players keep forcing bluffs despite repeated failures. Is it overconfidence, boredom, or the desire to appear fearless at the table? When does aggressive play become self-destructive? Have you faced opponents who seemed emotionally attached to making “big moves”?

I think they are doing it as a habit. They might also have an impression that bluffing will give them an advantage in the game and might also be able to intimidate other players.

Some players overbluff because they focus more on the idea of aggression than the actual outcomes. In poker, getting caught doesn’t always change habits immediately if they believe the bluff was “correct in theory.”
