My biggest tilt trigger is losing consecutive hands to suckouts. It’s easier to handle a loss when I know I misplayed a hand, it stings more when you get burned. That said, I focus on strengthening my discipline and mental game to keep it from affecting my play.

Do you have a tilt trigger? How do you usually respond or handle it?

Bad beats when I get it in good are my biggest tilt trigger in poker. It’s annoying when the math is right but it still goes wrong.

My biggest tilt trigger is suckouts. With emotions. It's difficult not to fall into that trap. What I do is take a deep breath and remind myself that it is just a variance.

I think bad beats can be especially frustrating because you can make the right decision and still lose. My approach would be to pause, remind myself that one outcome doesn't define the quality of a decision, and avoid playing emotionally to recover the loss. If frustration keeps building, taking a break is better than letting tilt influence the next hand.
