There are times when your playing strategy will be working so well as you played. It's going to consistently give you a win until something breaks in the strategy which will start having you lose constantly.

How do you handle losing streaks both financially and psychologically when you're playing poker?

I had really bad luck in a video game poker once, didn't win for over half an hour. Couldn't imagine doing that in real life.

I take breaks when the losses are becoming much. I wouldn't want to be in that situation where I am losing more. So, when the losses are becoming much, I tend to quit and resume another time, maybe weeks.

I take breaks when I'm starting to feel frustrated. I like to refresh my mind after a few losses. If I don't catch 🔥 it won't be a long night for me.

I learned from experience to always bring my best game. No shortcuts. I still make mistakes, but I go with the flow, and keep grinding.

There was one time I was losing for about 20 minutes straight up. That was when I know it was time to hit the brakes.

All your money would be gone should that happen to you playing in real life game event. Were you able to pinpoint the reason why you were on the long losing streak at the time?

That was a sad one. I think my longest losing streak lasted for about 7 sessions, if I'm not mistaken. In that situation, it's important to always take breaks. It will help you regain focus.

I don't keep count but i think i have a long streak that lasted like five sessions. I have to flee from the table!🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️Such long streak can give high BP.

When a losing streak hits, I focus on staying calm and disciplined. Financially, I stick to my limits and bankroll plan so I don’t overextend. Psychologically, I take breaks, step back and review my decisions to see if anything in my strategy needs adjusting. It’s about controlling what I can and not letting frustration dictate my next moves.

It's not a smart thing to do with not keeping record of losing streak. If you're ever serious about your bankroll management, you must take into account every money you're wining and losing.
