Why do you play poker?

What reason(s) do you play poker?

I play poker because I enjoy the game, but I also play to win.
 
To pass time like any sports, got to kill a little time and make money right?
 
The reason why I play poker is to have fun and also win money if that's possible. It's also a good way to pass time.
 
I play poker before for fun. But now, am contemplating how to make it a source of income. I heard that some professional gamblers play poker as source of income. I think i will give it a shot.

When I was first introduced to poker, my initial reason for playing was fun and socializing with friends but as I got deeper into it and gained more skills, I started to appreciate the mental challenge and the strategy that is involved. Now, I play to test my skills and learn from others too.
 
Some play for recreation, others for profit, while some people play to prove or improve their skills. I play for fun and to pass time.
 
I play poker just because it's fun and a way to hang out with people. I enjoy the friendly games and the excitement when you get a good hand. It's a relaxing way to spend time with friends without any pressure.

Poker is a game that needs strategic thinking, and I enjoy the challenge of reading people and making calculated decisions. It's a very exciting form of exercising my mind and having a good time with friends as well.

Poker tests your skills and it pushes your limits too. I play for fun but when I win, it becomes more appreciated. Poker has remained a very great way to challenge myself and have fun altogether.
 
I started playing poker primarily because I wanted to sharpen my critical thinking ability while being able to take logical decisions. I learned that poker would help to develop those attributes. With that said, I have also evolved to playing poker to win also.
 
There are two reasons why I play. I play for fun, it is very entertaining. I also play to win. Well, I haven't won much my winning and making money from the activity that you enjoy is certainly very good.
 
Fun isn't the main reason why I decided to start playing poker because if it was just only for fun, I would rather play video games and watch movies and TV shows. I need to win money first and probably have fun while at it.

I try not to make it mainly about the money because if I do that, I would never enjoy the game enough when I'm not winning. In fact, it's going ruin my whole day should I lose which it's very normal to lose because you can't win all the time.

It's exactly the same thing with those who play some video games for the purpose of making money. There are so many games out there which can pay players money or crypto or NFTs, I don't bother with such because they ruin the fun for me when I don't win it.

I also play poker because of how good it feels when I win money from playing it. This is why it sometimes sucks when I end up losing money while playing poker.
 
I am into poker both for the fun and the aim to make money. My boyfriend introduced me to the game and I started it as a fun and to make him feel better playing with me. It has gone past that stage now as the money that I make from playing poker is surely worth it.
