Aggressive vs Conservative Bankroll Management – Which Wins Long Term?

Do you think being aggressive helps you move up faster, or does it usually lead to busting or stepping down too often?

Conservative bankroll management usually wins long term because it reduces risk of going broke and keeps you in the game during downswings. Aggressive approaches can grow faster, but they also increase the chance of big losses.

Honestly, I don’t think about bank management when I’m playing these micro stakes if I can’t sustain the swings on a $2.20 buying game that I don’t need to be playing.
If I’m playing a live cash table, I won’t sit down without less then three times to buy in. I start the minimum the goal is to cash out that minimum and start again, but I very rarely have to use my extra..
Pretty much the same for tournaments I’m not going to sit down if I don’t have enough for reentry or rebuys and add on.
Golden rule Don’t play with scared money.. if you can’t afford to lose it, then don’t play with it.

Back when I first started playing poker it was definitely a necessity but as the years progressed I am more relaxed about it. I don’t play with scared money and I don’t play anything. I can’t back up. It’s all entertainment i’m not looking to get rich and it might really needed as a supplement as long as I self sustain a balance I’m happy
