Of course, poker dealers are people and they can make mistakes. Some of the common blunders they can make include:

- Misdealing cards
- Miscalculating pots
- Malhandling af all-ins
- Forgetting to shuffle
- Misinterpreting rules

If you suspect a mistake:

- Stay calm
- Politely alert the dealer
- If necessary inform the floor manager

They always aim at being as accurate as possible. In case you find an error, make the correction as early as possible.

I forgot how they handled it though. I'm pretty sure they shuffled all new decks and started dealing again as it took a while to start the game back up.

Dealers are well trained to minimize errors and maintain the integrity of the game but it doesn't eliminate errors 100% from their part which is why the floor or tournament director is there to intervene when such errors are reported.

They can still make errors sometimes. That is why there is a floor or tournament director. They rectify mistakes and make sure that the game is on the right side.

Are dealers not human beings? Human beings do make mistakes and is part of the game! No matter what humans are fallible and mistakes is a normal occurence! But you know there is huge difference between mistakes and intentional behavior. If a dealer makes mistake, it can be forgiven but when dealer intentionally try to outsmart players, proper disciplinary measures should be taken.

There are chances of dealers making mistakes in certain calculations and the best thing is ensuring that the player draw their attention to it. That will help the floor manager in fixing errors that might occur from it.
