I know a couple of players who hate when the winner stands up. But the rule is to protect your bankroll with no hesitation. If I'm winning big, I would rack up calmly and bounce. Afterall, we are all there to make money. No hard feelings. At least, that’s how it should be.

It mainly depends on where you are playing. In a table with friends, it would be nice to give them a heads-up that you would be leaving in the next 30 minutes or more, while in an actual casino, i believe it would be more polite after a massive win to leave after a round or two.

I play online and I can leave whenever I want. However, if you play offline and you want to leave a winning game you should keep it simple and respectful, you can say something like, “Hey guys, I’m going to call it a night, thanks for the game.” Don't mention the winnings.

Life is like a game of poker: it is not about what cards you are dealt, but how you play them.
