Knowing when to leave a cash game can be just as important as how you play it.
Some players stick to strict stop-loss or profit targets, while others base their decision on how they’re feeling, table dynamics, or game quality.
Do you leave when you’re up a certain amount? Down a certain amount? Or do you stay as long as the game is good?

One time I doubled my bankroll early and instead of leaving happily, I stayed because I wanted “just one more win.” Before sunrise everything has vanished. Since then I created a simple rule. Once I notice frustration, tiredness, or unnecessary confidence getting in, I leave immediately. .
